Castle of Maintenon (Eure-et-Loir)

The castle of Maintenon is located in the town of Maintenon in Eure-et-Loir, France. It is the subject of a classification as historical monuments since July 1944.
Construction spreads the twelfth century in the seventeenth century. In the early sixteenth century, Jean Cottereau transformed the fortress into a castle craft. Madame de Maintenon added a wing.
